These beautiful hand dyed fabrics are 100% high quality cotton and gradate from one color to another with a mottled appearance. Each piece is unique with beautiful variations in shadings and textures. It is the differences in color and pattern variations that make each set distinctive and unique. Due to the technique I use, my fabrics have a suede look to them. People are often enticed to touch the fabrics to see if they are suede. Since each piece is custom prepared, quantities are limited. Colors are available on limited terms, due to time constraints I will not be able to recreate them once they are sold out. The color swatches shown may vary in appearance from the actual fabrics due to differences in printing. Every effort is made to provide you with an accurate representation of the fabric color sets. Variations in color and texture are inherent in the dye process for hand-dyed fabrics - the variegations are part of their unique character. Names of the hand dyed bundles are my own interpretation of the actual fabrics.
Sizes:
Set A - approximately 18" x 22"
Set B - approximately 16"x 11" (discontinued)
Set C - approximately 9" x 11" (discontinued)
Each set contains 6 pieces - except for the Rainbow Set which contains 15 pieces. Fabrics are washed numerous times after the dyeing process with both Synthrapol and Retayne. They are preshrunk and colorfast. However, I still suggest using Retayne in the finished product—especially if you have mixed commercial fabrics with the hand dyed fabrics. Every effort is made to keep color sets consistent, but there is a difference in each dye run - so the colors may change slightly from batch to catch. Due to these differences, it is suggested ordering all that you need of a color run at the same time. If you need bundles larger than fat quarters, please email me and we can work on the amount you need. They are created in a smoke/pet free environment.
